No Tattoos for JWs? Then why no beards?

as elders we were told that tattoos were a no no!

because leviticus 19:28 says not......and jar hoover doesn't change according to micah.. the verse prior says not to cut your beard.. we have here typical wbt$ spin.

i find it frustrating at times when i make a reply video or post a comment only for it to be deleted, i found that if its a cult, does not matter which one, if you reply something that does not go a long to what they are saying (not being rude) reply video or comment will be removed, thats what i define a cult on youtube.. many jw's vids on youtube dont even have comments enabled.. .

anyway enjoy this vid made by a pro kjv bible anti jesuit believer (i think he has a thing for unicorns), those darn jesuits have nothing better to do than to fix the kjv.

I have a problem with faith, it can be used in any religion.

During the course of the bible, first god only favoured his people, then the gentiles, then Jesus came and uphold the old law + more, then paul came and spoke about jesus instead of jesus, then change the law between gentiles and judaic christians so gentiles were not bound by the old covenant. (this is an issue most atheists who quote the bible dont understand, quoting straight from the ot)

Now if you refer back to what jesus actually said in matthew he was referring to all. (this is an issue most christians dont get).

My story .....no friends after leaving the Cult and lost wife?

i realized today that i have no friends at all...it's me and my wife and two dogs and three goldfish, thats it's....i'm not too bothered by it but my wife wants to go back just for the friends.....i have de-programed her out of the "matrix" and she now thinks for herself, but she still feels like she needs a spritual side and friends.

i have people at work but we don't hang out.

i've become a a loner.

Hi Witness 007, I can't judge hearts, but the way I have been treated, there are those that care (minority), those that are doing their job (according to WB&TS fascist doctrines), and witnesses that have been assholes ever since I believed in the "truth", I also know those that were brought up in the truth and never made any progress and known hardly to attend any meetings and zero field service but still believe in it.

I did a big mistake with my work collegues as well, I declined more than once invitations to the pub and christmas parties, the same deal as far back as I can remember I became an outcast.

PS I think that we all have an agenda or a target audience, that's why there are many different interpretations of scripture, also the 4 apostles had different agendas, and we dont know if matthew wrote matthew or luke wrote luke etc. We dont have Q, most scholars agree on the beliefe we have copies of copies, that most people of that time were illiterate and printing presses did not exist so everything had to be hand writen, but that makes logical sense and it does not mean that scripture is not inspired by God but we can not 100% certain that it is as well.

I have not read forged myself but I posted a video on page 1 or 2 of this thread which he explains a bit about his book, it sounds like he tries to prove how common forgery was back then. What he wrote in his past books was nothing new but this book should be interesting and as all Bart Ehrman debates on youtube I hope to see one about forged in the future.
